Tiger Bloomer

The ‘Tiger’ pattern baked into the top is made by painting rice flour and sesame oil paste onto the surface prior to baking. The paste reacts with lactic and aceatic acid (a bi-product of fermentation during the proving period) and cracks during the baking process. The rice paste crust also gives the bread a distinctive flavour and aroma!
Serving suggestion – A classic for the kids lunchboxes and those grown up kids too!
