About Us

The Sandwich Bakery company is a second generation family run bakery owned and operated by two sisters with a passion for all things floury sweet and savoury based in the historic town of Sandwich Kent.

Trained by their father Paul Usherwood an artisan baker with over 40 years experience from classic British bakes to pastries and chocolate work from across the continent the sisters have taken the classic skills taught to them and added a modern twist to bake and create classic artisan baked goods and modern on trend celebration cakes and tray bakes for every occasion.

Artisanal Tradition

Chantelle with a artistic flair has a passion for creating beautiful cakes and sweet treats whilst Danielle focuses on continuing their fathers legacy hand-making and baking our traditional artisan breads using the original family sourdoughs in the traditional time honoured way.

We make our products using the finest locally sourced ingredients without the use of artificial additives or preservatives. We bake and create good food that makes you feel good too.
